Survival Skool is a gaming community centered around competition and comradery. Around here, we play "Survival Games". Specifically "VEIN"!!! We pride ourselves on the community events we put together, and on being a place where adult gamers can play competitively, and cooperatively, to win prizes and recognition! The rules are minimal:

  1. No prior game bans on your associated steam account.

  2. Must be +18 years of age

  3. No derogatory racism

Survival Skool manages a VEIN server in the NA East region. The server has 64g RAM, 32 player slots, 10g Mb/s connection speed, Incremental Restarts (4 hrs), Official Leader Boards, Cheater Detection, and Active Admins. The server is open to the public (no password), but in order to officially place on the leader board, and participate in community events; you must obtain the "Verified" role in the Official Survival Skool Discord. To find the server in-game, simply search "SurvivalSkool.gg" in the server list search bar.

VEIN is survival game where the progression of time makes surviving even harder. When a VEIN server starts at day one (1st Spring), the electricity and municipal water supply are both operational. Eventually, both the power and municipal water supplies turn off, leaving survivors to fend for themselves with out the modern creature comforts we enjoy today. As time progresses further; zombies become more abundant, hordes occur more frequently (and in greater numbers), and resources around the map become more scarce. We explain this game design/mechanic to help beginner players understand that joining the server in the middle of a wipe may be vastly more difficult, than if they joined at Day 1.

The period of time between Day 1 in-game, and the next full server reset is known as a "wipe". Survival Skool resets the VEIN game server monthly. At the end of each server wipe, we host community events, like the "Death Maze" or "Scavenger Hunt", where players compete and/or work together to win prizes and a spot on our server "Hall of Fame". Players will also receive recognition for achievements at the end of each wipe, such as "Most Zombies Killed", "Most Players Killed", "Longest Life Lived", "Most Deaths", etc. Achievement receivers and Event Winner's will be recorded on our "Hall of Fame" page (work in progress). Then the server is reset, and the competition begins again! Players can work together or plan their sabotage. All is fair in Love and VEIN!...

Eye-level view of a gamer focused on the screen
What do you get if you cross a zombie with a stripper? ..Two zombies.

As you embark on your journey to the top, remember that improvement takes time and effort. Stay committed, keep learning, and enjoy the process. With the right mindset and strategies, you can become a formidable player and leave your mark on the leader board. Happy gaming!
